MCP Research Service Terms

Scope

These proposed terms cover the Resell Pro Model Context Protocol (MCP) service: a research interface that lets a connected assistant request bounded Vinted market analytics from Resell Pro. They are limited to that service and do not create general website, subscription, refund, or browser-extension terms.

What the MCP service does

The service provides five research tools: marketplace overview, brand comparison, market-segment analysis, market trend discovery, and individual observed-sold item search. Results include market analytics and bounded lists of listing titles, prices, observation dates, and available photos and links. The tools do not change a Resell Pro account, watchlist, billing setting, or public external state.

The service requires a Resell Pro account and an OAuth connection. You can choose to approve or decline a connection, and you can revoke an approved connection from Resell Pro Settings.

Authorized use

You may use the MCP service only through a Resell Pro account you are authorized to use. Keep your Resell Pro sign-in and your MCP client credentials private. Do not share them or give another person access through your account.

Do not use the service to break applicable law, infringe another person’s rights, bypass authentication, rate limits or security controls, or interfere with the service. Do not place private, confidential, or personal data into a tool query. The service is designed for market research, not for obtaining personal information about a Vinted user.

Research limitations

Results are based on tracked Resell Pro observations. A reported sale means an item first observed as sold by Resell Pro’s trackers. It is not an exact Vinted transaction timestamp, and the observations are not complete coverage of the marketplace.

The service is intended for market research. It does not provide a guarantee about a listing, price, sale, availability, revenue, or outcome. You remain responsible for decisions you make using the research results.

Nothing in these proposed terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Privacy and connection data

The connection and its bounded usage telemetry are described in the MCP Privacy Notice (Draft). The browser extension has a separate privacy policy.

Third-party clients

You choose which MCP client to connect. That client receives the data you authorize and the tool responses it requests, and its own terms and privacy practices apply to its handling of that data. You are responsible for reviewing the client’s permissions before approving a connection.

Access and changes

You can revoke a connection from Resell Pro Settings. We may limit, suspend, or end access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, its users, or third parties, including for a breach of these terms. We may update the final terms by posting a revised version on this page.
